The Hammerlock tile series is unique because it is Vulcanized rubber, not bonded (urethane bound).  Vulcanized rubber is more than 5 times the tensile strength of the typical bonded rubber tile; making it superior for weight rooms and fitness areas with heavier impact.

1/2" (12mm) Interlocking Rubber Floor Tiles is a very common thickness used in most commercial weight room applications with moderate to heavy vertical impact on the floor.  1/2" thick vulcanized rubber is suitable for use at almost any level of military, collegiate or high school weight room.

The primary benefit of interlocking tiles is that they do not require any glue.  Interlocking tiles are a loose lay product and can be easily installed by the weekend warrior doing it by themselves.

Typical Rubber Applications:
